After the bonus of the Region 2 DVD, we've got some information about the Two Lovers Region 1 Blu-Ray DVD due to release on June 30th.
Within a review, DVD Verdict announces:
· A Commentary by James Gray,
· Deleted Scenes,
· A Behind-the-Scenes Featurette (7 minutes),
· A Making-of (4 minutes),
· A Photo Gallery.
EDIT on June 28th: According to the LA Times, the 'normal' edition will also get those bonus. |

For the Australian release of Two Lovers, The Age dedicates an article to James Gray talking at length about Joaquin, his retirement, his acting method and their view on Leonard.
Among some already published bits, some parts are new:
"He's amazing. He sat around and ate lots of crappy food and lived the life of that guy. He's really method; he walked around with the crappy jacket (the character wears) and had everyone call him Leonard. For months."
"We weren't trying to make a movie-of-the-week thing. Joaquin and I wanted the movie to embrace this character and to love him for all his flaws. Ultimately, even though his behaviour is exaggerated and at times downright absurd, he is still like us. We didn't want to look down on people or condescend." |
